Solar-Centred Astrology Reports
Your chart, read from the inside out.
Order a Solar-Centred Astrology Report
A bespoke Solar-Centred Astrology report offers a gentle pause from the increasing complexities of this world. A moment to step back into the heart of your own beautiful uniqueness. A refuge to return to again and again for restoring proportion in your life.
This report asks not simply "what traits do I have?" but something more essential: what is my life organised to bring forth?
It may be especially useful if you are seeking deeper clarity around life purpose, vocation, or direction; moving through a period of transition, creative development, or midlife reassessment; or if you already know your natal chart well and want to view it from a different perspective.
What is a Solar-Centred Astrology Report?
A birth chart is calculated for the moment and place of birth. Read in relation to the Ascendant, where the eastern horizon meets the zodiac and marks the first astrological house, it describes the embodied conditions, patterns, gifts, pressures, relationships, circumstances, and possibilities through which life is met.
A Solar-Centred chart turns the birth chart so that the Sun is placed in the first astrological house, the symbolic seat of honour. The remaining houses are then counted from the Sun, allowing the chart to be read from the solar principle itself. This does not replace the natal chart. It offers a different centre of orientation.
This approach focuses on the Sun as the central organising principle: the source of light and life, and the solar purpose around which the rest of the chart is read. Once the Sun is placed in the first house, the remaining houses unfold in a coherent symbolic order. Each house keeps its traditional meaning, while also showing its relationship to the solar principle at the centre of the chart.
This is not Sun-sign astrology. The whole chart is still read. The Moon and Ascendant are treated as major supporting pillars. The Moon shows instinctive response, nourishment, emotional rhythm, and what helps sustain the solar purpose. The Ascendant shows how a person meets the world, where attention and energy are drawn, and how the solar purpose takes shape in lived experience. The other planets are read in relation to these foundations, showing how the solar purpose is shaped, supported, challenged, or brought into lived experience.
An important feature of this framework is that because the chart is turned from the Sun, the natal Ascendant may fall in any solar house. Its placement reveals another layer of what it means to live in the world, showing where embodied life and personal orientation are drawn in service of the solar purpose.
This approach is grounded in traditional astrological doctrine, using whole sign houses, and the seven visible planets, whose traditional significations remain fully capable of describing the depth, complexity, and subtlety of lived experience.
Astrology speaks through symbols and patterns rather than fixed outcomes. The chart describes a range of tendencies, resources, pressures, and possibilities, while leaving room for choice, development, and the different seasons of life. The Solar-Centred Astrology reports are written to support the clearer and more constructive expression of those patterns, with respect for the fact that each individual participates in how their life is shaped.
What if I don't know my birth time?
An accurate birth time is ideal, but it is not always available. In a Solar-Centred report, the houses are counted from the Sun, so the main solar house structure will usually remain stable across the day. The Sun and planetary positions also generally remain valid, although the Moon may change sign within a 24-hour period.
Birth time uncertainty mainly affects the Ascendant and its placement in the Solar-Centred Chart. This is important, but it does not always make the report unusable. If you have an approximate birth time within a few hours, it is worth submitting a request. I will review the data before proceeding and before any payment is taken.
Chart Rectification
The Solar-Centred framework also lends itself to a broad form of chart rectification. Where the birth time is uncertain, the Ascendant can be considered in different possible solar houses and compared with lived experience. This is not precision rectification, but it may help narrow the birth-time window, and the process itself often brings its own kind of recognition.
